Google +1 to take on Facebook

Google has introduced a new social media and networking tool “+1”to take on Facebook. A new social component launched by Google has widened the scope for recommending content and new information to friend’s network with one click. Experts say that it is the outcome of Google's new idea of evaluating the content and recommending that to others.

Google +1 lets you recommend web content to your friends and contacts, making the venerable search engine even more social. To start using the Google +1, you need to have a Google Profile. The Google profile owner can see the Google +1 in search results when they are into the login. The login can be made with any Google account or Gmail account.

The user then will be able to find the Google +1 option right next to a search result. If he wants to share that content he can simple click the +1 button and the information will be recommended to his friends. It is just like the Google Buzz button of recommending content.

The users will also be able to like any ads. It will help Google to expand its advertising program.
